This book was awesome! I read it in 7 hours. This book will make feel so many emotions and will show you how no matter how rough life is God is in total control of the outcome. We all have a story, and this one proves that if you strive you will survive. Thank you, Lorraine Jenkins- Wilkes for showing me how to appreciate my blessings when I didn't realize they were blessings. I can't wait for part 2.

This book kept me captivated through the entirety. A family of 5 little girls and their dysfunctional family and their attempt to be more than what life has handed them. The verbal abuse that these little girls had to endure was heart wrenching to read. A must read!
